Many people struggle to look inward because it doesn’t feel safe.

Discovering inside is not about forcing awareness—it’s about creating enough inner safety to stay present.

Safety grows through:

  • Self-compassion

  • Grounding practices

  • A kind, non-judgmental attitude

When we feel safe within ourselves, we no longer need to avoid our inner experience. We can meet it with steadiness and care.

Mindfulness becomes a place of refuge—not another demand.

Practice: Place a hand on your heart or belly. Breathe. Remind yourself:“I am allowed to go at my own pace.”
